ED’s Cycle Co-op were delighted to have Danny MacAskill headline with The Clan at the Baldernock Spring Cycle Festival on Saturday 26th March 2011. We also had our own Baldernock supergran in Ros Jarvis, cycling LeJog. The crowd came from all around Glasgow and Stirling and there was even a Park ‘n’ Ride led from Baldernock Primary and Turnbull High Schools. More images here. Since it began in May 2009 East Dunbartonshire’s Cycle Co-operative has encouraged people across Bishopbriggs to take up cycling and it now hopes to expand its work, which includes providing cycle training, maintenance and guided rides, in 2011. EDs Cycle Co-op will be hosting a seminar with reflections on the achievements of our 2010 cycling initiative in Bishopbriggs, and take the opportunity to discuss our plans for developing the project 2011. The presentation will in the Bishopbriggs Community Church where there will be the opportunity to meet some of the parents who take part in our activities and those involved in the delivery.
